Bloody Murder 14 - The Railway Killers and the Hoddle Street Massacre

May 22, 2017

The Railway Killers and the Hoddle Street Massacre...

British serial killers John Duffy and David Mulcahy became friends on the first day of high school. They had a lot of interests in common like karate, the music of Michael Jackson and raping young women near deserted train stations. This brutal rapey game of theirs escalated and they started murdering their prey. Duffy was caught and sentenced but he didn't roll over on his school chum for over a decade, leaving Mulcahy free to do god knows what in that time.

On the 9th of August 1987, disgruntled ex-Army guy Julian Knight went on a shooting spree in Hoddle Street, Melbourne. He killed 7 people and wounded 19 others all because he was angry that his car had problems and some barmaid didn't like him. This episode has some chilling clips where Knight talks about his crimes and how disconnected he was from reality while shooting everyone up. This guy is so dangerous that the Victorian government drafted new legislation to keep him off the streets.

Bloody Murder 13 - Spring Dawn and the Assassination of Dr. Victor Chang

May 15, 2017

Spring Dawn and the Assassination of Dr. Victor Chang...

Early on a spring morning in March 1993, an unidentified young woman's body was dumped on a snow bank beside a highway in the small town of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. The authorities first had to figure out who she was before they could even hope to track down her killer.
Dr Victor Chang was a heart surgeon, a pioneer in cardiac research and a damn great Australian. The bumbling plot to extort money from him not only ended in his murder but also cost the many lives he would have continued to save had he not been pointlessly taken out by greedy imbeciles.

Bloody Murder 12 - The Gavit Sisters and the Queen St Massacre

May 7, 2017

The Gavit Sisters and the Queen St Massacre...

Under the criminal tutelage of their mother, Indian sisters Seema Gavit and Renuke Shinde graduated from petty theft to murder in the early 1990’s. Kidnapping children from crowded city streets, the women would operate in pairs, stealing and using the children as a decoy if one of them were caught. If the children complained or became an inconvenience the women would end their lives without a second thought.

On the December 8th, 1987, Frank Vitkovic went postal at the Australia Post offices in Queen St, Melbourne. Disconnected from reality and packing a sawn-off M1 carbine, Vitkovic went to seek revenge on a former friend who he blamed for all of his woes. Firing indiscriminately, he gunned down 8 people and injured 5 others before some brave employees put an end to his killing spree.

Bloody Murder 11 - The Internet Slave Master and the Lone Avenger

May 1, 2017

The Internet Slave Master and the Lone Avenger...

To say John Edward Robinson led a double life would be a gross understatement. He was a con man who lied so much he had to buy fire proof pants. Under the guise of being a slave master and successful entrepreneur he lured women he met online to Kansas on the promise of a better life and kinky sexy fun times. Soon after arriving the women disappeared. It took decades of vigilant police work to gather enough evidence to bring this POS scumbag down.

Len Lawson was a best selling Australian comic book creator, graphic artist, photographer, rapist and murderer. His comic the Lone Avenger was the best selling comic in Australia in the 1950's. His rapes and murders were less popular which resulted in him being one of the longest serving prisoners the country has ever seen.

Bloody Murder 10 - The Alexandria Eight and Jurgen Bartsch

April 24, 2017

The Alexandria Eight and Jurgen Bartsch...

In Sydney in the 1980's to early 90's up to eighty homosexual men were murdered by roaming gangs of youths who considered “poofter bashing” to be a national sport. One of these gangs, nicknamed the Alexandria 8, took particular delight in participating in these heinous hate crimes. They'd brag to their friends about ambushing and brutally attacking the men and collected newspaper headlines as trophies.

Jurgen Bartsch was a teenage German serial killer in the 1960’s. Adopted by a clean-freak mother who bathed him several times a day until he was 19 and a father who mostly ignored him, Jurgen was also sexually abused by a master at a strict Catholic boarding School. Did these factors contribute to his penchant for torturing, sexually assaulting and murdering young boys or was he just a sick fuck?

Bloody Murder 9 - The Norwegian Black Metal Murder and “Crazy Shelley” Knotek

April 17, 2017

The Norwegian Black Metal Murder and “Crazy Shelley” Knotek...

Church arsonist, possible neo Nazi, former Mayhem bassist and Burzum founder Varg Vikernes claimed he heard through the Norwegian black metal grapevine that band mate Euronymous had planned to tie him to a tree and torture him to death while filming it. Considering how Euronymous handled the suicide of Mayhem lead vocalist Dead, that didn't sound like such a far fetched concept. So Varg stabbed him...23 times.

"Crazy Shelley” sounds like a the nickname of fun party gal but Michelle Knotek would be better described as a cold hearted, sadistic, master manipulator. Boarders who stayed at her Washington home had a habit of disappearing - apparently running off to far away places and never contacting their friends and family again. They also experienced prolonged periods of torture and starvation while being locked in closets and left at the bottom of wells.

Bloody Murder 8 - The Otaku Murderer and the Yeeman Genocide

April 10, 2017

The Otaku Murderer and the Yeeman Genocide...

It was Japan in the late 80's and Tsutomu Miyazaki was heavily into anime. He also enjoyed kidnapping little girls, murdering them and engaging in vile sexual acts with their dead bodies. He claimed at trial that it was his love of anime and an alter ego named “Rat Man” that made him do it. We call bullshit on all of that.

In the mid 1800's in central Queensland the Fraser family and the local Yeeman tribe didn't always see eye to eye. Some settlers thought it was fine to rape and abuse Aboriginals and the Yeeman thought these acts warranted retaliation. The payback that rained down on the Yeeman people, led by William Fraser, was a horrible display of racism and bloodshed that virtually wiped out the Yeeman tribe.

Bloody Murder 7 - The Ice Cream Van Turf War and the Werewolf of Allariz

April 3, 2017

The Ice Cream Van Turf War and the Werewolf of Allariz...

In Melbourne in 2002 the piped fair ground music and sweet treats of Francesco Mangione's ice cream truck were horribly upstaged by the dying screams of his cousin Dennis. Just how could a turf war over ice cream get so far out of hand that it leads to murder?

Manuel Blanco Romasanta was Spain's first serial killer. He made soap out of his victims fat and sold it at markets. He also claimed to be a werewolf. When asked to prove this to the court he said that the 13 year curse had expired just the week before so he couldn't. Sounds legit to us.

Bloody Murder 6 - The Boozing Barber and The Skeleton in the Suitcase

March 27, 2017
The Boozing Barber and The Skeleton in the Suitcase...

Gilbert Paul Jordan aka the Boozing Barber had a nasty habit of seeking out Indigenous women who were down on their luck in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and killing them. His weapon of choice was vodka, which led the whole sordid scenario to be dubbed “the so called alcohol murders”.

In 2010 the skeletal remains of Karlie Pearce-Stevenson were found in Belangalo State Forest, NSW – and for once Ivan Milat didn't put them there. Her young daughter Khandalyce's remains were found in a suitcase on the side of the road near Wynarka, South Australia in 2015. How did they get there? And who or what was responsible?

Bloody Murder 5 - The Sunset Strip Slayers, The Big Eared Midget and Topsy the Elephant

March 20, 2017
The Sunset Strip Slayers, Cayetano Santos Godino “The Big Eared Midget” and Topsy the Elephant...

Douglas Clark was narcissistic even by 1980's LA standards. He called himself “a sexual athlete” and would charm women with self esteem issues into supporting his lazy ass. Carol Bundy had the kind of horror show upbringing that made her grist for his type of mill. Together they were vile and deadly.

Lock up your children, hide your pets, fire proof your home – and your children and your pets! Cayetano Santos Godino had murder on his mind from a very young age and didn't let his small stature diminish his body count. Although the Argentinian authorities weren't taking him seriously at first, when they did they actually wondered - Did his big ears make him do it?

Topsy gained a reputation as a bad circus elephant because she didn't suffer drunken assholes gladly. The footage of her 1903 execution is both the first and last elephant snuff film we plan on watching.
